Welcome to 100% Athlete
Empowering Athletes to Succeed On and Off the Field!
100% Athlete Podcast is hosted by three experts – (and college classmates!) – in the fields of youth sport coaching, collegiate and professional player management, and sports nutrition and dietetics. The three of them were chatting one day about how they could better serve their respective markets if they took an approach that rounded out the entire human being and not just the athlete. If they collaborated on all the facets that create lifelong athletes – from the day they first fall in love with the game to the day they make it a career – they could help create 100% Athletes…and the podcast was born!
In addition to the podcast, the three classmates hope to create a movement in high school and college athletics with their series of upcoming books: Go Pro Like a Pro, Feed the Beast, and For The Win. Their ultimate vision is for the series of books to be required reading for athletes by all high school and collegiate coaches and athletic directors.

When not writing, speaking, or mentoring and supporting student athletes in her hometown of Atlanta, Whitehurst can be found screaming at a TV screen while one of her former student athletes plays pro ball, cooking for her family or climbing mountains in her native state of Tennessee.
Besides seeing her student athletes win at the game of life, the lifelong NFL family member’s ultimate dream is to travel to Pamplona and watch her partners run with the bulls while she drinks red wine and cheers them on from a balcony above.
